Spectra is an experimental communication device. The colored lights on the mask are indicative of the user’s emotions, and are controlled by tapping sensors that are attached to the user’s fingertips.

This project is meant to emulate the experience of masking with Autism. The repetitive tapping of the fingers is a calming technique that I use to regulate my emotions when other methods are unavailable.

The code for Spectra was written by myself and run using Arduino.
